The EtsyKids team is a diverse group of talented and dedicated Etsy shop owners making items for babies, toddlers, and children. Although we come from different backgrounds and all corners of the world, we are held together by the fact that our members all love to create things for children. In our members' shops, you will find a wide variety of items ranging from clothing to toys to furniture to art and everything in between, in every style imaginable.

Our Story

In September of 2006, Shannon of The Clever Kitty had been selling her felted baby shoes on Etsy for a few months, and noticed that there were a lot of wonderful shops with of all kinds of unique items for babies and kids opening. She thought it would be great to form a group for all of the shop owners to share their knowledge and pool their resources to help get the word out about all of these great items on Etsy. She posted the idea in the Etsy Forums, and the EtsyKids Team was born. The team quickly grew and now spans the globe with members in nearly every US State, and 10 different countries!

In early 2011 Jocelyn of The Little Love Bug and Marci of Lilikins took over the leadership role within the team and worked together to improve and develop the team before stepping down in November 2011. Now the team is lead by Erin of Sweet Child of Mine and Stephanie of Toastie Studio who continue to work hard along with a Dedicated Staff to make Team Membership beneficial for all. The EtsyKids Team has certainly come a long way since its birth as a simple post in the Etsy Forums.

The EtsyKids Team is constantly growing and wouldn't be where it is today without the hard work and dedication of it's all volunteer Leaders, Staff and team members
